Watch D.O.G.S.
As a father of elementary aged kids, I participated in a program called Watch D.O.G.S. The purpose was to get more fathers engaged in the schools because volunteers tend to be overwhelmingly women. I took time off work to spend the day at Trebein Elementary. I supported things like reading flash cards, sorting paperwork, supervising recess, and library time.

Over the years, I have come into Beavercreek classrooms to present on special topics where I have expertise. To the left, you can find the presentation I gave to an 8th grade Science class on Satellites. I've also presented satellites to 4th grade, taught programming to an elementary school gifted class, and taught programming basics to elementary schoolers.
